St George the Martyr Church, Newbury
St George the Martyr Church in Newbury carried out a significant refurbishments of its existing church building, including a provision for improving the acoustics within the main hall space where people were finding it difficult to hear speech.
Cedar Park Neuro Rehab Unit
Sustainable Acoustics, working with Design Engine Architects, are delighted to have developed the acoustic strategy on Phase 1 of the Neuro Rehab unit known as Cedar Park, in the village Enham Alamein near Andover. The idea of this facility is to assist with the introduction of people back into community-style living.
Xcel Leisure Complex and Sports Hub, Walton on Thames
Sustainable Acoustics worked on the construction and operational noise control at the new XCel Leisure Complex and Sports Hub.
St Mary Magdalene School, Greenwich
Sustainable Acoustics was commissioned by the Royal Borough of Greenwich to provide acoustic design advice for the construction of St. Mary Magdalene Church of England School, the proposed new school at Millennium Way, on the Greenwich Peninsula within site of the O2 arena. This site is affected by noise from London City Airport and the busy Millennium Way.
Lighthouse, Poole
Sustainable Acoustics acted as the acoustic specialists for the refurbishment of the well-known Lighthouse, Poole’s centre for the arts. We worked alongside award-winning architect Design Engine, to assist in the £5.3 million refurbishment of the iconic building, Britain’s largest regional arts centre.
