Job Description:

You will be an integral part of the team and be expected to actively contribute to our success. Your responsibilities will include planning and undertaking acoustic surveys at locations throughout the UK, data analysis, and technical reporting. You will also be client-facing, presenting acoustic advice to architectural design teams and clients. We want you to be enthusiastic about using your acoustics training to make a difference and learn how to implement sustainability principals and create net-zero projects using your impactful acoustic advice.

 

Must haves:

  • Good degree in acoustics or related subject

  • A rigorous and critical approach to all aspects of your work

  • Ability to work outside of normal office hours and stay away from home, on occasion

  • Technically minded with good maths skills

  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English

  • Willingness to travel around the UK

  • Full driving license

  • Commitment to sustainability

 

You will be able to work from home to complete written aspects of the job, be in the office for team and technical meetings and be out in the field conducting site tests under the guidance of our Acoustic Consultant team. We are committed to continuing professional development and we provide suitable training and experience to assist you becoming a chartered engineer and first an associate and then corporate member of the Institute of Acoustics.
